Disney fans the world over are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the latest Disney movie – The Princess and the Frog starring Princess Tiana.
Princess Tiana is the protagonist of Disney’s upcoming 2009 film The Princess and the Frog. The film has a limited release date in the USA (in NY and LA only) as the 25th November and will be released in US theaters on December 11th. This film will mark the return of Disney to traditional hand drawn animation and will bring to fans the 9th Disney Princess. The latest member of Disney’s Royal Family, Princess Tiana, is the first Disney Princess to come along in a long 11 years – with the last Disney Princess being 1998’s Mulan.
The Princess and the Frog movie storyline centers on young Tiana, a young woman living in the French Quarter of New Orleans during the 1920s Jazz Age and a prince named Naveen who has been transformed into a frog by the evil voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The story features a trumpet playing alligator, a love sick Cajun firefly and a host of other adorable characters at every turn.
At the recent US Toy Fair, a preview was given of the Disney merchandise that will accompany the movie. With vibrant and regal colors like purple, green, gold and blue, the toys will evoke life in New Orleans and the bayou, where the film is set. The collection includes dolls, playsets, role-play items and costumes as well as colorful accessories.
The Princess and the Frog Tiana doll from Mattel, will probably be the most popular toy from the line. Just as in the story, beautiful Princess Tiana wears her sparkly blue ball gown and comes with her frog Prince Naveen. The fiber-optic gown lights up and the doll and frog interact! In addition to the signature Princess Tiana doll, Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana will be available in wedding attire.
Websites about the gorgeous Princess Tiana and the movie have already begun to appear. Of note are those that applaud Disney’s choice to feature a princess of color and other sites that offer coloring pages, printables and paper crafts that feature Disney’s latest Princess.
Little girls of all ages will enjoy the many, free, printable coloring images of Princess Tiana (plus party invitations, various paper crafts and party room decorations) available from Princess Tiana Coloring Pages a site that has the best Princess Tiana colouring sheets.
As we anticipate the movie’s release, Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Princess Tiana in the movie gives us a glimpse into the princess’ character. Tiana is a “diamond in the rough” who will have to learn some lessons before she reaches true princess status. She is a motivated, determined and independent young woman. She wants to do things her way, without help from anyone. “She’s a strong young lady who doesn’t need anyone to do things for her,” says Anika Noni Rose. “She is keen to do things for herself…”
Brad Pitt Height – A Closer Look
October 29, 2009 by admin

Recently, many Internet forums have accommodated an overabundance of discussions and sometimes heated debates regarding the Brad Pitt height controversy. These Internet discussions seem to be enamored with the true height of movie superstar Brad Pitt. Despite the general knowledge that the Brad Pitt height is between 5′ 10″ and 6′ 0″, many websites persist in adding fire to fuel the Brad Pitt height debate.
It is apparent that some people are quite fervent about their position on their Hollywood idol. The reproach and acrimonious name-calling is evidently directed toward those that would attempt to disparage the name of Brad Pitt.
In order to resolve the Brad Pitt height mystery, some people have resorted to testing “scientific theories” to prove their point. In one case, a poster shows photographs and claims the relative comparison of Brad next to several co-stars proves he is 5′ 11″ tall. Another person asserts they met Brad in person and they can tell he is not 5′ 10″ as they ‘eyeballed’ his height at least 6′.
This stirring dispute seems to have more practical use as fodder for the tabloids than it does for serious debate. It may be that Brad’s fanatical followers do not want him classified as an average height person, especially since according to United States Health statistics, the average American white male is 177 cm tall, which is 69.7 inches, or 5′ 9.7″ tall. That statistic would place Brad Pitt height in the average.
Aside from all the banter back and forth, there may be a plausible explanation to the Brad Pitt height debate. In 2004, while filming the movie Troy, Brad Pitt injured his Achilles tendon. Breaking news stories from reliable sources stated the injury caused a 90-day delay in finishing the last scenes while Brad’s injuries were treated. It is rumored that after the accidental injury, Brad Pitt began wearing corrective shoes in an effort to prevent future damage. Those ’special shoes’ reportedly included lifts that cause Brad to appear taller than he actually is.
Another explanation as to the Brad Pitt height variations could be related to his perfect posture. There are many claims that his posture is so perfect as compared to others who slouch, that Brad appears taller, even when side-by-side with people of the same height.
Though this reasoning may in all probability help explain the Brad Pitt height debate, the only true source and real answer could be found through Brad himself. In the early 1990’s Brad listed his own height at 5′ 11″ in a teen magazine profile, and later a popular Internet movie database at 5′ 10 3/4″. Nevertheless his real measurement will without question continue to be the subject of discourse among fans and consequently preserve the continued Brad Pitt height debate.
Brad Pitt Gallery – An Overview

From his early days as a hot young blonde actor in ‘Thelma and Louise’, to his most recent distinguished look in ‘The Curse of Benjamin Button’, the variety of Brad Pitt gallery photos is virtually endless. Appearing in more than 35 movies, dozens of television episodes, hundreds of magazine covers and centers, and even in a game show (The new Hollywood Squares 1988), the Brad Pitt gallery would seem to be overflowing with pictures for the mass of fans whom adore his work.
Besides all the still imagery, a plethora of video feeds are available, everything imaginable from interview clips, movie trailers, and candid scenes by the paparazzi. Without a doubt, the Brad Pitt gallery is not deficient in ‘eye candy’ for his multitude of fans.
Brad’s career and personal life are well documented in the thousands of picture databases and Brad Pitt gallery websites on the Internet. However, one place you may not find Brad is in the rare nude scenes shot for Playgirl magazine in 1997. A lawsuit filed by Brad Pitt resulted in the removal of many of the August 1997 issues, making these photographs a rare commodity.
A diverse number of photographs and videos feature Brad in character of his many roles from an unkempt facial growth and hairstyle to a sexy goatee or a smooth and dapper man of refinement. The Brad Pitt gallery shows the many characters of Brad in his movies. Notwithstanding, the most likable and elegant pictures are those of Brad as a normal father to his 6 children and loving companion to his girlfriend Angelina Jolie.
Several Internet websites devote a virtually unlimited amount of space for Brad Pitt gallery images. Practically every important moment in Brad’s 20-plus year Hollywood career is in one or another of these Brad Pitt gallery fans sites. Suffice it to say if you want to see Brad at any moment in his career, it only takes a few clicks of a mouse to discover his picture somewhere on the Internet.
While many people browse the Internet to find a Brad Pitt gallery, it is remarkable to note that Brad is not one of those. In a recent interview at the 13th Annual Oscar roundtable discussion, Brad confessed he has never Googled himself, as he confessed he does not know much about computers. This possibly is a disappointment to many fans whom have a Brad Pitt gallery and are hoping Brad may find their site, and hope for him to leave a note.
Goozex Review: Long Term User Review

Where do gamers go?
The choices you have as a gamer are:
- Buy (Online, Ebay, used, Gamestop..)
- Rent (Gamefly, blockbuster…)
- Trade (Goozex, Switchplanet..)
Renting in the past at your brick and mortar rental place can easily set you back more then $5-$7 every week like Blockbuster. There have been other online rental game sites that charge a monthly fee like /month for one game out like Gamefly. Renting isn’t all together bad but playing videogames isn’t like watching movies. There is a considerable larger amount of time invested in videogames then in movies. Most movies range from 1.5 hours to epics of 6 hours. Where most videogames you could get a good feel for a game in 3 hours but most sports games and long role playing games could be played for more then 70 hours.
This is where Goozex steps in. Goozex allows the gamer to keep the game as long as you want but have the option to sell it too. There is only a $1 transaction fee if you request a game on their network. So basically you can trade in your older games and build up Goozex credit until you get enough for a newer title and just pay the $1 transaction fee. A shipping and handling is handled by sender and the buyer only pays . There is no monthly membership so you can stop at anytime or go at a slower pace. This is ideal in the sense that you could play the game until you are actually sick of it then send it in for credit. No hurry as you play and ship at your own pace. Plus you OWN the game. At that point it is yours.
You only send games directly to the next member. There is no single central warehouse and the pricing of the credits of the system are in points (100pts = $5). The pricing of the game is determined by market demand, release date, initial cost of the game, and a couple other factors. Most xbox 360 titles will go for 800-1000 pts which translates to $40-$50. This isn’t bad for a used game. You could probably save a little bit of money if you bought it at a used gaming store but then you would have to pay tax and actually go to the store. Goozex gives you free shipping to you with no tax charge. You also have an option to buy credits if you want but I wouldn’t recommend that unless you have no games to send in or nothing of yours is being requested. Price fluctuations occur and you can see the points swings. I’ve had a couple games I requested and I can see that price increase/decrease. It doesn’t happen that much but some games change +/- 200pts depending on market demand.
So why use Goozex instead of a used videogame store or an auction site with games like Ebay? You just need $1 to pay for the transaction fee. Most people don’t like to continually shell out more money for a game and then feel like the games they bought are depreciating at a very fast rate. Selling your game for cash anywhere will not give you that much. Brick and mortar stores resell your games for a huge mark up. Selling it online at an auction site will incur fees and you still have to pay for shipping. You can get great value from Goozex and just trade in games you don’t want with a demand. There might be more difficulty in sending older sports titles as those don’t have much demand once their season is up like trying to sending in EA sports Madden 2005 will be a hard game to sell to someone on the network. Older games on ebay are a hassle to sell. You can build your own game list and no insertion fees.
Lots of integrated information like tips and reviews. I love being able to see the supply and demand of each game. This will let you know if you have a game people want or if you can possibly get a game on the network. The system chooses who gets paired up. There is a waiting list that is generated and when you add a game you will see in what place you are waiting for that game. This is a fabulous idea as impatient gamers can tell if they should expect a game soon. There is also a distinction between games you want now and games you have for holding. Both will show you your place in line so you’re not forced to get every game you want now. This is a good way to build up a wishlist and then have your core set of games your really want now. Building a large list ensures some games will continue to come to you. I requested Crackdown and I was like 60 people back. Turns out I got the game in less then 2 weeks. Just because you’re really deep in line doesn’t mean you won’t get the game soon. The system can deliver newer games in a short amount of time which is a huge bonus for gamers that want to play newer games but don’t want to buy them at the store. You have the option of trading just the game, the game with instructions, or the full package that includes case and instructions. This is helpful as some gamers tend to lose instructions and/or cases. The value of the game doesn’t go down as the credits don’t reflect what is included. This is because the user requesting the game can have the option to request only full packaged games, games with instructions, or just the game itself. I have not had a problem with getting full packages as I’ve gotten over 49 games and I’ve sent out 54 in under 2 years of being there.
Why NOT to use
For this site to be a perfect 5 star site I would like to see:
1. More users (will there ever be enough?)
2. More old school games (nes, snes, saturn….)
3. Sure isn’t free but man it’s 4 quarters. I’m a member of another site that has no transaction fees yet still protects the members.
4. Sneak peak video game trailers
5. More community interaction (user reviews, recommendations…)
All the above are small tweaks to the system that is already very functional. The main reason someone would NOT want to use this system is time and money. If you have the dough you would just buy it new down the street? Why wait? Saving money and the community are the main draws to the system. If your not interested in connecting with other gamers and plan to play all your games alone then the only reason to use the system is money. If you wanted to save money but are impatient then this sits is NOT for you. Most new release games takes on average of 1-2 months. Why? You are placed on a Que. The order of the Que determines when you get the new game, but more importantly is how many are available? Most will eventually get bored of their new game and will send them out as “have” games. The wait times do get long. Say you want to play a game that takes a long time to beat. Some people like myself take a long time with games. Seasonal games with many updates like Madden will hit the system quick but it’s also a bad thing. You don’t want to hold a game too long or it will lose it’s value. Trading for early on might be for 1000 points but in a couple months with the market being saturated it could be 500 points in no time losing half of it’s value. Not Goozex’s fault but some games just don’t move well.

Reaching A Determination On Whether To Get Satellite Or Cable TV
October 29, 2009 by admin
People make cable and satellite TV choices based on comparisons between various digital television packages offered by one service provider or another. A comparison of cable and satellite TV offers always starts from the premium services and the special room system configurations that first subscribers take advantage of. But for cable networks, television wouldn’t be where it is today: in the cable early days all those who didn’t get good signal from local affiliates turned to the cable network and thus contribute to its influencing of the television landscape. Presently, cable systems have turned into highly complex structures, as they face organization in business conglomerates and associations with satellite companies too. Click through here for additional information about watch live tv online .
Cable and satellite TV prices vary according to the taxes the companies pay and the investments they have to make to modernize the networks. Thus, satellite options are more advantageous in terms of price because their taxes are not set by local governments and usually include less complex infrastructures. Cable networks on the other hand have millions of miles of underground cables that need to be converted to digital technologies, which will surely prove expensive. Therefore, the prices for cable services are higher than those for satellite; yet the structure of the discounted packages influence the consumer’s choice too.
Cable and satellite TV providers offer almost the same kind of programs at the national level, but there are good bits and bad bits about each of the variants. Satellite solutions for example give the viewer the choice of programs through extensive feeds and optional packages: this means that an average user could dispose of about five hundred programs at will. Otherwise, cable networks remain the right choice for one who isn’t interested such diversity, but would rather pay for good network reception only. The expectations of such users are met by local programming created by cable companies competing with satellite providers. You will acquire more worthwhile information relating to watch tv shows online here.
Different equipment is necessary for cable and satellite TV modes; with the cable, the TV set is all the gear necessary, while with satellite you’ll need a lot more for digital programming. A dish with a matching convertible, a compatible TV set and a remote control remain the basic items for satellite use, with the mention that satellite requires a continuous open view to the southern sky for signal reception.
Unfortunately, if you live in an area with stormy weather, then, the satellite is not that advantageous because of the gaps in the signal reception. You should gain tons of extra information on watch live tv online here.
Brad Pitt Films – An Overview

Beginning in 1985, Brad Pitt had a dream to become an actor, this dream led him to leave behind his studies at the University of Missouri and pursue his real ambition in Hollywood. Arriving in LA, he began taking acting lessons from well-known acting coach Roy London, and eventually landed a minor part in ‘Another World’, a daytime soap opera. Soon this minor part would escalate the Brad Pitt films legacy over the next two decades.
In addition to appearing in many TV dramas and sitcoms, The silver screen has featured in excess of forty Brad Pitt films to complement his acting career. Several Brad Pitt Films from his early career went largely unnoticed as opposed to his most recent films. For instance, ‘Johnny Suede’, ‘A River Runs Through It’ and ‘Kalifornia’ from the early 1990s. It was not until his portrayal of Louis de Pointe du Lac in ‘Interview with the Vampire’ that he started to receive recognition. Consequently, that movie and the next three Brad Pitt films afforded him several a landslide of awards and nominations, not the least of which was a best supportin actor from the Golden Globes in ‘Twelve Monkeys’.
Brad Pitt films from 1996 until 2001’s ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ largely went unnoticed by the acting and performing community in regards to awards, nominations and box office receipts. It was the ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ role, as Rusty Ryan, that revived Brad’s career. Then in 2004, Brad took the lead role in Troy, portraying Achilles, for which he received the Teen Choice Award and a nomination for MTV’s Best Male Performance award, the worldwide box office totals from ‘Troy’ amounted to nearly 0 million. An astonishing figure for Brad Pitt and so far the highest grossing film for which he was the lead actor.
Brad Pitt films that did not receive an award or nomination between 2004 and 2008 was surprisingly, ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’. Yet, the total gross recipts at the box office for each of these movies was in excess of 0 million. The latest Brad Pitt film to receive a nomination is ‘The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button’, where Brad received a total of 5 nominations for Best Actor and Outstanding Performance by a Male actor from the Screen Actors Guild, the Academy Awards, BAFTA and the Golden Globes.
Upcoming Brad Pitt films include ‘The Tree of Life’ due to be released in late 2009 and ‘Inglourious Basterds’, a Quentin Tarantino production, where Brad plays an illiterate hillbilly from the mountains of Tennessee. Filming took place in Germany and France this past winter and is expected to be released in time for the Cannes Film Festival.

Harry Potter Movies

Whoa, what is the deal with the Harry Potter films? These craze creating stories have completely caused a lot of talk in Tinsel Town. Have you seen any of them? Well, if the answer is no, then you’re certainly in the minority. Children and adults alike simply love Harry Potter. Harry Potter Halloween costumes are very popular. In fact, the Harry Potter series alone have earned J.K. Rowling a pretty penny. There’s just something about spells and demons that gets our blood flowing. Two things are for certain; this movie series is not soon to fade, and loads of money will keep rolling in. Harry Potter films are like a new-age Star Wars.
It’s all about the Harry Potter Halloween costume. Let’s face it, most of us love a great book. Or maybe you can call it fantasy. Regardless, the Harry Potter series is a big hit. When the first book hit the shelves of every bookstore around the world, I didn’t really think much of it. Yippy, another children’s novel that goes into the supernatural realm of magic and good versus evil. Like that hasn’t been done before. However, children across the world began to rave about the new-age take on magic. This initiated the adult interest. Suddenly adults too were getting pulled into these thoughtful books. It was only a matter of time before we saw the inevitable release of the Harry Potter movies and Adult Harry Potter Costume . While I have seen the first four, I must admit that they’re not exactly my chosen genre. Of course this doesn’t stop my daughter from adoring them. I must admit, the concept of the Harry Potter movies is the perfect key to classic fantasy land. And this is what audiences generally look for when they flock to the movie theaters. Come on, you want to get your 50 bucks worth. Alright, it might not be that expensive. Who am I kidding, yes it is.
If you have not read the books, you may simply want to follow the Harry Potter series. I noticed that the last two were better made than the first two. Of course this is just my opinion, but the way they were edited was much better if you ask me. The World-Wide-Web also provides any follower of the Harry Potter movies with a variety of things to read. You can hop on the internet and pick up any of the original Harry Potter series today on DVD for a decent price. Amazon.com is a great place to shop for these and many other films.
Brad Pitt Bio – A Closer Look

Born William Bradley Pitt, in Shawnee, Oklahoma on December 18, 1963 to Bill and Jane Pitt, Brad grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He attended Public schools, graduating from Kickapoo High in 1982 and later that year, he attended the University of Missouri, where he belonged to the Sigma Chi fraternity.
Although he was attending college to secure his degree in Journalism and advertising, he decided to alter the Brad Pitt bio forever. He decided to pack up his belongings and make a trip in his Datsun to California to explore a career in acting. That decision undoubtedly made the Brad Pitt Bio a much more interesting story to read then if he had remained on course for a career in journalism.
Arriving in Los Angeles in 1985, Brad worked various jobs and took acting lessons from renowned acting coach Roy London. Within 24 months, he got an engagement in television as a regular on Dallas. In 1988 he received his first film role in The Dark Side of The Sun, for which he was paid a little more than 10,000 dollars for the seven week role. The movie actually was not released until 1997.
His big break came in 1991 with a role in Thelma and Louise. Shortly thereafter, his career catapulted in the early 1990’s and culminates with his first Oscar nomination in 1996 for ‘Twelve Monkeys’. He subsequently has won more than 20 awards and received 41 nominations for his superior acting roles.
An official made for TV Brad Pitt Bio was featured on A&E network’s ‘Biography’ in 2004. This historical account chronicles Brad’s early life growing up to his rise to super stardom. The Brad Pitt bio heralds his rise to international fame, following his acclaimed career from his early days as a relative unknown in Another World and the popular ‘Dallas’ TV series to his advancement to superstar in the ‘Ocean’s’ trilogy mega hits.
The future brad pitt bio is still being written as it includes his present nomination for the 81st Academy Awards Best Lead Actor for his role as Benjamin Button in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ (2008). Brad, and girlfriend Angelina Jolie, both were nominated by the Academy Awards for their respective lead roles in late 2008’s hit movies, Brad in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ and Angelina for ‘The Changeling’.
Future Brad Pitt Bio will undoubtedly include his work as an emerging Producer. Until recently, Brad Pitt has only had a minor role in producing films. However, he is either rumored to be working on or producing more than 9 films to be released over the next three years.
The 2009 NFL Season

This season so far is VERY exciting and interesting. At this point (almost halfway through the NFL season for 2009) we have witnessed a little bit of everything. First of all in the AFC, the South is being dominated by the Indianapolis Colts, who are in total control. The surprise has to be the winless Tennessee Titans. The AFC West, who would have thought that the Denver Bronocs would be in first place and undefeated! (huge game Monday at San Diego). The AFC North in first place is the Cincinnati Bengals (you read that right!). The AFC East is extremely tenacious, especially between the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and the New Jersey Jets – it is predicted that one of these teams will get a wildcard at the very least. In the NFC South, both the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints look very formidable and many predict that one of them will win the division, while the other wins the wildcard. The NFC West is a three team race with the Seahawks, Cardinals and 49ers (tough one to call). The NFC North much like the West, is tight, but the Vikings do look strong (although up until now, have had a weak schedule). The usual tough NFC East doesn’t seem as tough, with the Giants and Eagles looking like the two top teams, which will go down to the wire.
My prediction for the AFC and NFC Championship games? My predictions for the AFC are the Chargers vs Colts, with the Colts coming out on top, and in the NFC the Saints vs Vikings. In both of those games, I predict the Saints and the Colts to win, so look out for an enteraining Super Bowl between these two teams. You want me to pick a winner? Look for New Orleans to win their first Super Bowl, and for Drew Brees to be named MVP! I’m so sure that I already bought my Labrador a dog football jersey in anticipation! One of my friends even bought his dog a Cowboys dog jersey. You read it here first! Enjoy the rest of the season – I know I will!
